Hey so I'm noblord, an ex Hearthstone player. I was planning to try playing Hearthstone full-time for a year after I completed my degree (in electrical and computer engineering), but the shift in the overall scene to a Grandmaster's League (that I missed the cut for) destroyed those plans. Probably worked out for the better since pivoting seems like the correct decision.
I finished up my master's degree (in analytics specialized in the computational track) recently, so now I'll be more focused on the job search aspect.
