I've been playing video games since I can even remember. Being born in 77, some of the earliest memories I have are going to arcades, getting so excited when my dad would put $5 in the coin machine and I'd hear all those glorious quarters hit the metal bowl underneath.
During the great video game crash, we finally got an Atari 2600. We would go to the pharmacy every weekend and buy games for a couple of dollars each, ever since then I've been enthralled with gaming at home.
Gaming was a large part of my formative years. I grew up with Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and eventually Sony/Microsoft. I even loaded up the family PC with games.
Becoming an adult I watched a lot of people grow out of playing games, but the love for them has never left my heart. I'd work 40 hours a week and pour any free time I had into gaming. When I lost my job and started looking for a new one, everyone would always tell me to find something I loved to do and do that for a living. After many years and soul searching, I decided I'd try and live the dream. So here I am on my journey to see if I can make it in the world of streaming!
